Wonder Burundi Company (WBC) is a registered social enterprise based in East Africa, working at the grassroots level in Burundi. We focus on solving some of the country’s most pressing environmental and social challenges—specifically in the areas of:

Our purpose is simple yet powerful: to improve the lives of Burundians by delivering sustainable, community-centered solutions that are both effective and scalable.

Why We Exist

Burundi faces significant challenges: limited access to clean water, unreliable energy, and growing environmental waste. These issues affect health, education, employment, and dignity.

WBC was born from a belief that solutions should come from within the community and be designed to last. Through local leadership, innovation, and collaboration, we work to ensure that no child drinks unsafe water, no home stays dark at night, and no environment is left polluted.

Our Legal Status

Wonder Burundi Company (WBC) is legally registered as a SARL (Société à Responsabilité Limitée), equivalent to a Limited Liability Company (LLC). We operate as a mission-driven social enterprise, reinvesting revenue and donations into community-based projects that generate long-term environmental and social impact.
